Industry Status

China’s large-scale urbanization has brought great challenges to the whole world. To ensure the future development of mankind, we must promote social inclusive growth, sustainable development of environment and construction of resilient infrastructure. Driving by the urbanization, the world we live in is becoming overcrowded and full of pollution disaster.

The report released by the world’s largest energy metering service enterprise – iSta pointed out that the energy consumption of heating accounted for up to 45% of the total energy consumption of buildings, and the implementation of heating metering transformation could effectively prevent air pollution. The responsible person of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China pointed out that to fully implement heat metering would be the core of work in the next year in a heat metering reform conference and heat supplying enterprise must make charges for newly-built or existing buildings that have installed metering devices by metering results unconditionally.

The transformation of heat metering refers to add control valves and meters in houses accepting central heat supply so that householders can adjust the heating temperature at any time and be charged based on the actual consumption. By encouraging householders to save energy autonomously, heat metering can decrease the total energy consumption of heating by 15% to 20%, in some cases by 30%. At present, 116 municipal cities have formulated policies about how to charge by metering.

Our Experience
